Beef Kafta Patties
- 3 pounds of lean ground beef
- Hand full of parsley
- Hand full of mint
- 1 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 medium bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon all spice
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons salt
Tahini Sauce
- ½ cup of Tahini
- ¼ cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Tahini Sauce
- Mix tahini, water, and garlic powder in small bowl
- Add salt and pepper to taste
Beef Kafta Patties
- Gently fold all ingredients together in large bowl. Don’t over mix, use your open palm to avoid removing too much moisture from meat
- Gently form small parties and place aside on cooking sheet. Don’t overly pack the patty (ours came out to 12 patties)
- Grill directly over coals for 3-5 minutes each side or until desired internal temperature
- Place patties on top of a pita with rice, salad, or any other desired sides.
- Drizzle tahini sauce on top
