Sautéed Green Beans with Bacon
Quick and simple side dish or snack
Prep Time: 10 mins
- 1 pound of fresh green beans
- 4 strips of bacon
- ½ of large red onion
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wash and remove stems from green beans and set aside
- Slice bacon and onion into strips
- Add butter to pan over medium heat
- Once butter is melted, add bacon and onions to pan
- When bacon and onions are soft, add green beans
- Let cook for 15 minutes or until the greens beans are at desired texture
- Salt and pepper to taste
